TWU Shuttle Bus Service

Texas Woman’s University Office of Commuter Services and the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) have partnered to provide the opportunity for TWU students to use the DCTA Connect Bus Route Service at discounted fares. If you have a valid TWU student ID, you can now purchase DCTA Connect tickets on campus at the Office of Commuter Services in the TWU Student Union, Room 209. A student favorite is the “10-Ride Program” for $7.50 (50% Saving). DCTA Connect Bus Routes 4, 5 and 6 services Texas Woman’s University and will take you to the Downtown Denton Transit Center where you can transfer to any of the other Connect Bus Routes that services the city of Denton. When transferring from one route to another, remember to ask your DCTA bus driver for a free transfer slip to present to your connecting bus.

Currently, DCTA Connect Bus Routes 4, 5 & 6 pick up and drop off at specific campus locations throughout Texas Woman’s University. You can pick up a DCTA “Go Guide” at the Office at Commuter Service for bus route maps.

Riding DCTA Connect is a great way to save money on gas, campus parking fees and another way to support the sustainability initiatives at TWU and the city of Denton.
